More sketches, including Dumais. Dumais is a French super agent. Is he good? Is he bad? Stay tuned to find out... And to people that know how to speak french, I apologize for his harsh language.

Sunday Strip #3

Sketches! This group includes a preview of the revamping of Manley Days (Not like I'm not busy enough).

Sunday Strip #2

More sketches, mostly of the female spy (as yet un-named). And no I have no idea why Brock is punching a Sheep. Could be a "Punny" reference to Elvis Costello's Punch the Clock.

Sunday Strip #1

It's the moment you've been waiting for... the first Sunday (full color) strip posted. No more appetizers, now it's time for the main course. I hope to have a new Sunday strip up every (you guessed it) Sunday. This one is early (or late) since it is the first one.

What's going to happen next Sunday? Here is a sneak peak:

Here are more sketches of Brock the Adventurer.

This group of sketches marks the first appearance of a female spy. She has a back story with Brock the Adventurer. Brock the Adventurer is like Indiana Jones but more quite.

Yup, more sketches. I never mentioned that I do these sketches straight to paper with a pen. No pencils on any of these.

Here are some more sketches. My absolute favorites are the very last two, of Brock and SSS fighting. And about the drawings of Brock with the long legs... I don't know what it's about either.

Here is another fun group of sketches. Look for cameos by USA network's Monk, Fatty Nagano, Me and my daughter River.

This group of sketches was fun just to play around with a slightly bigger cast of actors. It's also the my first attempt at Brock's profile. Which turned out great, I must say.

This group of sketches is important because it is the first appearance of Brock. Who happens to be my absolute favorite character to sketch EVER! EVER! This also includes a three strip preview of the actual comic!

Here is really the start of me getting the feel of Super Sized Spy. Drawing full pages was very fun. The scene of SSS hanging from the window was so good I used it in the actual comic. As great as all of these are my favorite is the boating sketch.

This is the first series of sketches of my 400lb James Bond (a character that I doodled in an older sketchbook like a year ago). But, this is the first appearance of Dr. Bonez.

New Jeff Manley creation

Here is the home of my new comic strip Super Sized Spy. This blog site will be used to post sketches, penciled strips and all things Super Sized Spy. But, this will not be the home of finished strips. I decided that my new strip was not going to be an online comic... unlike my fantastic Manley Days comic strip. So come here to see all the behind the strip goodness.
